**Information relevant to Lone Star Players and Viewers:**
**The fake July 17th qualifying deadline has been extended! **
You may qualify **online** for the Open Championship through Friday night (the night before the event). https://go.ctm.gg/event/ctm-lone-star-open-2024/
You may qualify **online** for the DAS Championship through Saturday night (the night before the event). https://go.ctm.gg/event/ctm-lone-star-das-2024/
*There may be a few stations available for live qualifiers at the venue on Friday (reserving them for walkups who aren't in this Discord or other special circumstances), but there will be no qualifying stations at the event on Saturday or Sunday. There just isn't time.*
***Open and DAS Championship schedule (subject to being completely upended by the vagaries of the nature of live events) (all times US Central)***
For players onsite and for @everyone who wants to watch live or online
**Open Championship / Saturday:**
**11am** Orange R1 (MT1) / Blue R1 (MT2)
**12pm** Green R1 (MT1) / Red Rd1 (MT2)
**1pm** Orange R2 + Blue R2 (MT1) / Green R2 + Red R2 (MT2)
**2pm **Semi #1 (MT1)
**3pm** Semi #2 (MT1)
**4pm** Finals (MT1)
(**Taco Bracket** to begin at 2pm on MT2. Schedule depends on how many players there are, but these matches will go quicker, because, well you know.)
**DAS Championship / Sunday:**
**10am** Orange R1 (MT1) / Blue R1 (MT2)
**11am** Green R1 (MT1) / Red Rd1 (MT2)
**12pm** Orange R2 + Blue R2 (MT1) / Green R2 + Red R2 (MT2)
**1pm **Semi #1 (MT1)
**2pm** Semi #2 (MT1)
**3pm** Finals (MT1)
On both Championship days, players should aim to arrive at the venue early enough in case there is a line to get in. Players should also try to be available well before their bracket begins (30 minutes!), so that we can start on time (or even go early to try and get ahead). Your cooperation here will help this go smoothly.
MT1 matches may or may not be simulstreamed to Twitch and YouTube. MT2 matches probably will be on Twitch exclusively.
**Friday Stupid Texas Monthly**
On Friday, as time permits we'll run some STM mini-brackets (4-8 players each), and winners will get to choose a stupid prize from a stupid plastic bucket.
Streamed on MT1 and/or MT2. This is all very ad hoc and I have no idea when anything will be. Just show up and hang out / watch.
**Also, a thank you.**
I just wasn't able to convince the venue to give us the space we want. So it's small, with only 8 total stations and not enough chairs, awkward viewing angles, etc. I really appreciate everyone who is taking the time and bearing the expense to come out to play or watch.
Because of the space limitations, July weather, venue technology, event schedule, admission cost, and a host of other things, this will almost certainly be our last time at the Classic Game Fest and I will be looking for a venue befitting a Championship-caliber event in 2025, so stay tuned and thanks again!

P.S. Please support the prizepools if you can. Thank you.
