Wow, it's time to qualify for Classic Tetris Monthly. Where does the time go?

How does this all work?

Everyone who submits a qualifier will get to a play in a tournament.

For November, we are adding the following for quals and matches:

• Quals with rom: 39 Halt
• Quals without rom: 329 lines + your final line clear that takes you to or past 330 lines.
• Matchplay CC and below: same as quals
• Matchplay ME: 39 2xKS

Full Rules

The top 16 qualifiers play in the very prestigious Masters Event. The next 16 play in something called the Challengers Circuit, and the winner of that thing also gets to play in the Masters Event in the following month. The next 16 qualifiers play in the Futures Circuit who likewise gets to play in next months Challengers Circuit. After that, 16 players compete in Hopefuls Circuit! These four tournaments are superstreamed bracket by bracket based on color on the MonthlyTetris Twitch account.

This is followed by multiple tiers of Community Tournaments. Matches from these tournaments are scheduled privately among players and restreamed on Twitch throughout the month by volunteers.

Semifinalists in September clinched placement in the same tournament or higher for November. However, you must submit a qualifier in order to play.

But, don't get bogged down by all that. All you have to know is: submit a qualifier to play Tetris against people, then figure it all out later.

Dates and Location

Dates:

Masters, Challengers, Futures, and Hopefuls are scheduled between the players in various Discord channels, so as to broadcast them one bracket at a time throughout the month. Be flexible please or vandy will delete server.

Community Tournaments will be restreamed throughout the month by volunteer restreamers, per usual. Finals will be attempted to be broadcast on the main channel.
