This is where you qualify for CTM Tap Masters.

NOTE: Both TAP and DAS are allowed in this tournament!

If you're brand new, here's the overall CTM rules

1. Click 'Start Qualifier' when you're, like, ready to actually qualify.
2. You'll be taken to a screen that gives you an AUTH WORD. This will be used to timestamp your qualifying session.
3. You'll also see the form to submit your scores and your VOD link and stuff.

Tournament Format and Rules

QUALIFYING DEADLINE: July 12th. Your qualifying session must start while it is still July 12th or before in your local timezone. That means your timer must start on July 12 or before. It may extend past midnight, but must start on July 12th or before. July 12th. Or before.

STRUCTURE: CTM Tap Masters is a 32-player flat bracket tournament. There are no additional tiers.

SEEDING: Players are seeded in order of their qualifying averages.

FORMAT: All tournament matches are best-of-five, with the highest topout score winning each game.

PLAYSTYLE: Only the DAS and Tap playstyles are allowed.

Since the Tap playstyle is allowed, you don't have to heed "the Spirit of DAS" if you're playing DAS. (That is, double-quicktaps or continual slowtapping are allowed.)

However, players must heed "the Spirit of Tap". For the purposes of this tournament, The Spirit of Tap ("SOT") is understood to be primarily a single-finger attack that directly addresses the directional buttons, with a single "hyper quicktap" allowed for any given tap sequence, which may occur at any point of that sequence. That is to say, for the tap movement of a given a piece, you may use a secondary hand or finger no more than one time during a tap given tap sequence, and it may occur at the end, beginning or middle of that sequence. The allowed number of extra taps from another hand or finger is one or zero.

Players may switch freely during a game or match between the Tap or DAS playstyles.

"Raking", "butterfly tapping", "keyboard rolling", or any other similar methods are not SOT for the purposes of this tournament. And of course, rolling is not allowed.

LEVEL: Level 18 starts for all games.

SCHEDULING: Tap Masters is scheduled in groups of 2 or 3 matches by a scheduler according to player and streamer availability.

PIECES: Same piece sets (SPS) is required.

PLAYER IDENTITY: During matchplay, players MUST stream with both face and hands visible on camera. By participating in a tournament, players agree to be streamed on our various livestreaming platforms and to allow CTM to use the recorded footage in our public archives and other video content. Players must conform to the Terms and Conditions of the various platforms involved with the tournament (e.g. Twitch, Discord).
